Superior clamping technology for cheaper and faster machining of turbine blades
Turbine blades have a spiral surface that is difficult to clamp when one needs to machine the profile of its “fir tree” foot for instance.

We have developed a mechanical clamping technique with claws that adapt to the surface of the blade and are operated by a simple mechanical on-off clamping action

Schunk Spanntechnik recently decided to add this technology to their catalogue of clamping solutions
